Villeroy & Boch "Clover-Klee" Vegetable Dish, Blue, 1890-1900
Rare antique Villeroy & Boch tureen/vegetable dish, Klee pattern, produced in Wallerfangen around 1900. Its delicate floral decoration with clover motifs, printed in a bluish-green on a cream background, reflects the craftsmanship of the factory at the end of the 19th century, in a style foreshadowing Art Nouveau.
Complete with its lid, this beautiful earthenware piece will find its place equally well on a formal table or in a French Country, Cottagecore, or country-style setting.

Good overall condition for an item over 100 years old. This antique piece has a natural crackle in the enamel as well as some traces of time, testifying to its history (1 small internal chip, 2 cracks, yellowing of the enamel in some places, see photographs).
