Product description
Villeroy & Boch Santiago oval serving platter, design Sue Heaven, vintage.
Vintage oval serving platter from the Santiago series by Villeroy & Boch, designed by Sue Heaven. Made in Luxembourg, marked "Ancienne Manufacture Impériale et Royale fondée en 1767".
The famous Santiago design features a wide border of color blocks in red, orange, cobalt blue, purple, lilac, and ochre brown surrounding a white center. Two sturdy handles on the short sides. Made of porcelaine à feu (Feuerfest), meaning it is fireproof and suitable for use in the oven.
Condition: Good, no damage, cracks, or chips. However, there are a few minor irregularities in the design that are original from the factory (see detail photos).
Dimensions approx. 16cm x 34cm x 2cm.
The Santiago series is no longer produced and is now collector's item.
