Product description
This set of twelve Villeroy & Boch Acapulco dessert plates represents an iconic piece of European porcelain design. The vibrant, multicolored decor featuring stylized birds and flowers is instantly recognizable, making these plates a beloved collector's item within vintage table culture.
Crafted from high-quality porcelain in Luxembourg, each plate displays the distinctive Acapulco motif inspired by Mexican folk art. The bright colors, including blue, orange, yellow, and green, contrast beautifully with the white background. The plates bear the original Villeroy & Boch stamp on the underside, confirming their authenticity and provenance.
The set is in excellent condition, with the colors retaining their original brightness. The glaze is intact; however, because a few have been put in the dishwasher, it is less sparkling (see photos). The plates display a carefully preserved character befitting their age.
