This Vieux Rouen miniature coffee pot is a fine example of traditional French faience. The piece showcases the distinctive hand-painted floral and avian motifs that define the historic Rouen ceramic style, rendered in a vibrant polychrome palette on a white ground. Crafted from ceramic, the pot features a classic bulbous body, an elegantly curved spout, and a domed lid with a pointed finial. The hand-painted decoration includes intricate borders in blue and orange, alongside detailed floral sprays and a prominent bird motif. The underside bears the inscription "Vieux Rouen Fait Main," confirming its hand-crafted origins. The coffee pot remains in excellent structural condition, with the glaze and painted details retaining their original vibrancy. The piece exhibits the natural character expected of hand-painted ceramics, with no significant structural flaws visible.
