About this seller
Private sellerProduct description
A set of four chairs, designed by the Italian architect and designer Vico Magistretti for the Danish manufacturer Fritz Hansen. This model, known as the Vico chair, is an example of the synergy between Italian elegance and Scandinavian craftsmanship, produced in 2003.
The chairs have a seat and backrest upholstered in a durable black fabric, placed in a sculptural shell of light-colored, molded wood. The base consists of four slender legs of chrome-plated steel, which provides a stable yet airy appearance. The design is characteristic of Magistretti's ability to create complex forms with apparent simplicity, with the armrests flowing seamlessly from the backrest.
This set is in good, used condition consistent with its age. The chairs are structurally solid and retain their original character and aesthetic qualities. The combination of natural wood, black upholstery, and shiny chrome gives the chairs a timeless and refined look.
These Vico chairs are ideally suited as dining chairs in a modern or Scandinavian interior. Due to their comfort and presentable appearance, they also function excellently as conference chairs or as stylish seating in a living or working space.
An armrest needs to be secured.
