Product description
Harmonious set of four finely detailed porcelain putti (cherubs), manufactured by two renowned German porcelain factories in the second half of the 20th century. The figurines are made of elegant, matte bisque porcelain with refined, hand-painted gold accents along the baroque, wavy pedestals. The set consists of: • 2x Wallendorf Porzellan (DDR): Including a putto with two rabbits (model number 60) and a putto playing a flute. Both feature the well-known green crowned 'W 1764' mark. • 2x Gerold Porzellan (Tettau, Bavaria): Including a putto with a pair of turtledoves (with an authentic Belgian shop sticker) and a putto with a rabbit (impressed model number 5556). Both feature the 'Made in West Germany' stamp. Dimensions: • Putto with two rabbits (Wallendorf): Height: approx. 15 cm | Width 11 cm & length 12 cm. • Putto with flute (Wallendorf): Height: approx. 16 cm | Width & length 5 cm. • Putto with doves (Gerold): Height: approx. 14 cm | Width 6 cm & length 10.5 cm. • Putto with rabbit (Gerold): Height: approx. 10.5 cm | Width 5 cm & length 8.5 cm. The figurines are in beautiful, vintage condition. Will be carefully, safely and insured shipped.
