About this seller
Private sellerProduct description
A vintage Italian pendant lamp by Vetri, (the large edition) made of Murano glass and dating from the seventies. This piece is a characteristic example of Italian design from that period, with the lampshade taking the form of draped fabric, giving it a sculptural and playful appearance.
The lamp is made of high-quality Murano glass in an amber hue, which ensures a soft and diffuse light distribution when the lamp is on. The inside is white. This design, produced on the island of Murano, is known for its artisanal glassblowing techniques that have been passed down for centuries.
The overall condition of the lamp is good, in accordance with its age. The original Vetri Murano sticker is still present on the shade, confirming the authenticity and origin of the piece.
This pendant lamp is a characterful addition above a dining table, in a hallway, or as ambient lighting in a living room. It fits well within various interior styles, from Mid-Century Modern to eclectic and contemporary decors.
The height is approximately 47cm, width at the bottom is 28 cm. Current cord length (is adjustable) is approximately 60 cm. The lamp has an E27 fitting/wide fitting. The lamp comes from a smoke-free environment.
I have examined the lamp carefully. There is a minimal chip on the underside of a fold but it is barely visible. See photo 11. Had never seen it before.
Preferably pick up due to the fragility of the glass.
