Product description
A veeeery rare umbrella stand, designed by Charles Catteau for Boch Frères in La Louvière, Belgium, in the 1930s. The decor number is D873. Smaller vases with this decor also exist. This stand is unmarked, "but signed all over", no problem for connoisseurs.
VERY BEAUTIFULLY MODERN decorated with yellow, blue, black, and green squares. A real eye-catcher in any modern and classic interior!!!!!
In very nice condition, a few hairline cracks in the bottom, but nothing serious. A custom-made zinc dish is placed inside to protect the bottom from the points of umbrellas and walking sticks, for example....
