Description: Beautiful Dot stool of first production by Arne Jacobsen for Fritz Hansen. Together with Fritz Hansen's grandson, Søren Hansen, Arne Jacobsen developed plywood furniture. This stool was their first collaboration. Although Arne Jacobsen is the designer, this stool would not have existed without Søren's help. The first version of the stool is recognizable by the brass dots, where the name 'Dot stool' comes from. The seat is made of black lacquered beech plywood. The stool has a diameter of 34 and a height of 45 cm. Photo 6 shows you the stamp of the Manufacturer Fritz Hansen.
Condition: The stool is in good vintage condition with accompanying patina.
