Product description
Rare early edition 1974 vintage Relaxer rocking chair by Verner Panton for Rosenthal Studio Line, original black version (lacquered solid wood) with a soft reupholstered zippered seat. Includes two cushion covers in the same orange fabric.
The rocking chair is in very good vintage condition with only light signs of use - often the Panton Rocking Chair is quite battered. The rust orange fabric (slightly lighter and more orange than shown) is also in neat condition, presumably this is (high quality) cotton velvet or chenille, with a nice pleat. Original cushion inside.
An iconic Space Age chair design that would look great in both minimalist and maximalist interiors as an accent chair or lounge chair. Last but not least, a designer chair that is much more comfortable than the photo suggests. Height: 75 cm (floor to top edge). Width: 62 cm.
