This ceramic vase is a work of Italian craftsmanship, produced by Ceramiche Simonetti of Castelli in the 1980s. The piece stands out for its classic silhouette and elegant decoration that evokes the Art Déco style, reinterpreted with a postmodern taste typical of its decade of production.
Made of cream-colored glazed ceramic, the vase has a tapered shape with a flared neck. The main decoration consists of a central band with a geometric rhombus pattern, enriched with golden lines and an effect that reproduces marble veins in shades of gray and brown. The same marbled finish is repeated on the upper edge and base, creating a refined contrast with the glossy body of the vase.
The vase is structurally sound and beautiful, but it has a small, slight chip on the lower base (visible in the last photo). The defect is minimal and does not affect the stability or the overall aesthetic impact of the piece when placed on furniture or on the floor.
The glazed surface is well preserved and maintains its original brilliance, without obvious defects that compromise its aesthetics. The production mark "Castelli" is visible on the bottom, guaranteeing its origin.
Thanks to its sophisticated and timeless design, this vase harmoniously fits into various furnishing contexts, from classic to more modern ones. It can be used as a single decorative element on a console, a sideboard, or a bookshelf, or to hold a floral arrangement.
