This Art Deco enameled glass vase is a creation produced by the French manufacturer Leune and attributed to designer Auguste Heiligenstein. Made around 1925, the work is an emblematic example of the period's aesthetic, characterized by the fusion of geometric shapes and stylized naturalistic motifs.
The vase features a satin glass structure, offering a translucent surface that gently diffuses light. The main decoration consists of a motif of three geometric roses, made with polychrome enamels in shades of red, blue, green, and white, and outlined with black contours. On the back, a grid pattern completes the design, while the artist's signature is visible on the surface of the vase. This piece testifies to Heiligenstein's technical mastery and stylistic innovation, a prominent figure in the artistic glass production of the era.
The object is in good condition, consistent with its almost century-old age. The satin finish and enamels retain their original character, showing a patina that attests to its historical authenticity. The artist's signature helps confirm the provenance and collectible value of the work.
Normal factory original mold lines and slight superficial marks consistent with an object that is a century old are visible.
Thanks to its distinctive design, this vase fits elegantly into classic, eclectic, or modern interiors. It can be used as a standalone decorative piece on a console, a bookshelf, or a side table, adding a touch of historical sophistication and color to the environment.
