About this seller
Private sellerProduct description
Sculptural ceramic vase signed Anthony Pitot, Goult (Luberon), with a free and slightly asymmetrical silhouette, asserting a strong and instinctive presence. Each side is crafted as an autonomous relief, adorned with engraved stylized faces, evoking a primitive and expressive iconography. This multiplicity of viewpoints gives the piece an almost narrative dimension, inviting one to walk around it. The glazing work, with earthy tones blending matte browns and nuanced greens, reveals a sensitive exploration of material and depth, with drip effects and variations that reinforce its unique character. At the intersection of contemporary ceramics and sculpture, this piece is part of an artistic approach where gesture and texture take precedence over pure form. Unique piece, ideal for a collection or as a central element in an interior. DIMENSIONS: HWD: 22x24x4cm
