Product description
Superb art ceramic piece from the Mid-Century Modern era.
This circular-handled vase was crafted in West Germany
by the prestigious Carstens Tönnieshof manufacturer
during the 1960s. The base reveals the engraved
authenticity markings: the model number "659/25"
as well as the official brand logo representing a
stylized house.
The body of the object features a remarkable enameled
decoration with concentric bands and circles in shades
of brown, ochre, and textured caramel, subtly imitating
the natural wood grain. A ceramic with character,
heavy and elegant, ideal for decorating a sideboard
or completing a West Germany art collection.
