Product description
Small decorative Vase in emerald green glazed ceramic, enhanced with rich metal trim featuring geometric and vegetal motifs. Its globular body rests on an annular foot and extends into a constricted neck ending in a widely flared opening. Two bands engraved with arabesques frame a frieze of rhomboid plates worked in relief, whose golden and browned tones contrast with the depth of the green enamel. The ornamental vocabulary and collection context point towards Moroccan decorative arts, possibly a Safi production from the second half of the 20th century. In the absence of a signature or mark under the base, this origin and dating remain cautiously proposed. Height: 15 cm Width: 11 cm Depth: 11 cm Weight: 500 g Good general vintage condition. The enamel shows diffuse crazing, some marks, and slight surface wear. The metal mounting shows patina, tarnishing, and visible irregular artisanal assemblies.
