About this seller
ProfessionalProduct description
This Kehrä vase was designed by Finnish designer Tamara Aladin for the Riihimäen Lasi glassworks. Produced between 1964 and 1974, this iconic example of mid-century Scandinavian design is distinguished by its sculptural silhouette and raised circular motifs. Made of mold-blown glass, this vase features a deep cobalt blue hue that captures and reflects light. Its geometric shape, characteristic of the 1948 model, reflects the modernist approach of Finnish glassmaking during this period. The piece is in very good condition, retaining its original brilliance and the crispness of its molded patterns. This vase brings a touch of intense color and an architectural presence, fitting perfectly into a contemporary interior or alongside other vintage collectibles.
