Product description
Elegant covered porcelain vase from Baudour, Empire style, enhanced with rich gilding. Its flared silhouette is highlighted by a gilded pedestal and a matching lid topped with a gilded knob. The two handles are adorned with mascarons representing human faces. The square base rests on four molded feet, bringing elegance and balance to the whole. Produced during the second half of the 20th century by La Porcelaine de Baudour – Cerabel Belgium, this piece testifies to the exceptional talent of the Belgian manufacturer in reinterpreting iconic classical decorative styles. Very slight traces of use consistent with its age.
