This is a screen print by the renowned artist Victor Vasarely, a pioneer of the Op Art movement. The work features a distinctive geometric composition that plays with optical illusions, a style that brought Vasarely worldwide recognition. The dynamic spiral form in blue, orange, and brown creates a sense of depth and movement, typical of his mastery of visual perception. The artwork is framed and features a mat in a warm, ochre-yellow hue that enhances the colors of the composition. The sleek, silver-colored frame adds a modern accent. The work is signed and bears a nameplate with 'VASARELY', emphasizing its authenticity. The combination of geometric forms and thoughtful use of color makes this a representative example of Vasarely's oeuvre. The work is in good condition, commensurate with its age, and retains its visual impact. The framing is intact and offers a solid presentation of the print. This artwork is an excellent addition for lovers of modern art and Op Art. It fits into a contemporary or mid-century modern interior, where it can serve as a powerful visual centerpiece on the wall.
