This elegant Danish vanity chest is a wonderful example of the thoughtful functionality that characterises Scandinavian furniture from the mid-century period. Behind its understated exterior lies a cleverly designed dressing station, allowing the piece to serve equally well as a chest of drawers, vanity or compact dressing table.
The hinged top opens to reveal an integrated mirror together with a carefully organised interior featuring small drawers fitted with leather pulls and practical compartments for everyday essentials. Below, three generous drawers provide additional storage and are fitted with the distinctive recessed circular pulls that define the clean lines of the design. The warm teak grain flows beautifully throughout the cabinet, while the slender tapered legs and subtle stretcher reinforce its light, elegant appearance.
