Vallauris, France. This heavy vase is designed in a unique and expressive pleated model (vase plissé / mouchoir), making the ceramic suggest softly draped fabric. The piece is signed on the front with the gold-colored, handwritten Vallauris signature and features the original blind stamp on the underside. The glaze is a work of art in itself: a deep, high-gloss jet black base combined with a fiery 'Pink Lava' drip glaze in magenta, pink, and white.
