Vintage enamelled ceramic table lamp or night light attributed to Vallauris workshops (1960s-1970s).
The piece is distinguished by its original gilding.
The bumpy, glossy white enamel cap is adorned with crisp golden dots and encircled by a matching trim around the edge.
The base features an intense red glaze with a speckled and flamed finish, enhanced around the opening's contour.
Inside the cavity, which serves as a light reflector, there is a sculpted relief decoration including a blue and yellow butterfly in flight, a cyan flower, a blue snail on its leaf (showing a tiny chip from use, very barely visible overall), as well as a textured honeycomb-like background resembling lichen.
The object has its original hole at the bottom of the base for the passage of the electrical cable (sold without electrical system, to be fitted).
In very good general condition, it measures 17 cm in height and 14 cm in width at the cap.
