A refined set of three crystal glasses, manufactured by the prestigious Belgian manufacturer Val Saint Lambert. These glasses are a testament to exceptional craftsmanship and timeless elegance. The set stands out due to its vibrant colors and the brilliance of the hand-cut crystal, a hallmark of Val Saint Lambert's heritage.
Each glass is made from high-quality, clear lead crystal that is 'cased' with a layer of colored crystal. This technique, where the colored layer is carefully cut away, reveals complex patterns of fans and stars that beautifully catch and reflect the light. The set consists of three different colors: a deep cobalt blue, a rich ruby red, and a vibrant chartreuse green. The faceted stem and the star-cut foot complete the design.
The glasses are in impeccable condition, indicating very careful use or that they have only served as decoration. Their authenticity is confirmed by the etched signature "Val St Lambert" on the underside of the foot, and on one of the glasses, the original brand sticker is even still present. This set is a beautiful example of the quality and artistry for which the house is renowned.
