Quinta Nova porcelain dinnerware, 43 pieces, 60s – Portugal
Excellent porcelain dinnerware from the Portuguese firm Quinta Nova, renowned for its fine porcelain. Its meticulously painted floral design combines warm tones of orange and green on a pearly white background, evoking a romantic yet very contemporary touch.
The edge of the pieces features a wavy shape with a fine golden trim, enhancing their decorative character. The floral ornamentation, with intertwined branches and blooming flowers, recalls 19th-century botanical motifs, inspired by Rococo art and Victorian design.
The balance between the golden details and the softness of the floral brushstrokes makes it an ideal dinnerware to complement a more classic decoration style or to break up a more modern setting. Stamp on the base of each piece.
Quinta Nova Porcelain, now Vista Alegre
Quinta Nova Porcelain was a Portuguese brand renowned for its production of high-quality porcelain items, especially dinnerware and table services. Founded in 1824 in Ílhavo (Portugal), its products are characterized by elegant and detailed designs, often including floral motifs and golden edges.
They are appreciated for both their functionality and their aesthetic value and artistic design, and are often considered collector's items. Today, no pieces are produced under the Quinta Nova brand, as it is now Vista Alegre.
