Product description
The S320 dining chair, designed by Wulf Schneider and Ullrich Böhme for Thonet in 1984, is a perfect example of a harmonious combination of tradition and modernity. The furniture combines a solid construction of beech wood and steel, and its navy blue upholstery stands out with its expressive character. Thonet, an icon in the world of design, has been associated with innovation and quality for decades. He gained particular recognition thanks to the mass production of bent furniture, which changed the way furniture was perceived. The presented model refers to these traditions and at the same time fits into the Memphis style that reigned supreme in the 1980s. Features and renovation: Functionality: The chairs can be stacked, which makes them easier to store. Wooden elements are protected by rubber spacers to prevent scratches. Finish: The beech legs were carefully renovated - they were cleaned, reattached to the frame and finished with oil and shellac polish. Upholstery: New filling and upholstery made of high-quality fabric. The backrest is decorated with an interesting decor that emphasizes the unique character of the furniture. Originality: Each chair has a Thonet company sticker, which confirms its authenticity. This elegant, stable and functional chair is both a tribute to the rich tradition of Thonet and a practical element of interior design. Height: 78.5 cm Width: 60 cm Depth: 56 cm Seat height: 45.5 cm Seat width: 46 cm Seat depth: 42 cm Backrest height: 39 cm Weight: 9 kg
