Kortleever is a Dutch artist and entirely self-taught. He has been drawing exclusively with shapes and colors since the age of 14. The drawings are created without a preconceived plan and are given names based on the thoughts that occupied him during the creative process. In addition to the drawing, the buyer receives a short story about the meaning of the work's title.
Kortleever lives alternately in Arnhem (NL) and Málaga (ES) and has exhibited in both cities in the past. He usually sells his work at art markets. There, he draws 'live' and thereby engages in conversation with interested parties and buyers.
