About this seller
ProfessionalProduct description
This table lamp is the essence of Czechoslovak functionalism and Bauhaus design from the 1930s. During this period, Czechoslovakia was a world leader in the production of lighting fixtures that emphasized strict geometry, top materials, and high practicality. This lamp is a typical representative of an aesthetic that abandoned decor in favor of clean form and technical perfection.
The item underwent a complete restoration process. The chrome-plated steel construction was professionally cleaned, highlighting its timeless silhouette and mirror luster. A major advantage is the adjustable shade, which allows for precise light direction, making the lamp an ideal companion for a desk or bedside table. As part of the renovation, new electrical wiring was installed, making the lamp safe and ready for immediate use in a modern interior.
