Beautiful vintage Murano glass bowl in a leaf shape
Hand-blown Italian Murano bowl from the mid-century period (circa 1950-1970), in an elegant organic leaf or flower shape.
Technique: Sommerso (layered glass) with beautiful green hues that transition from deep emerald green at the edges to a pale yellow/green in the center.
Special feature: The glass contains manganese, which makes it react beautifully to UV light (blacklight) with a mysterious green glow – a rare and sought-after feature among vintage glass collectors!
Dimensions: Approx. 16 x 47 x 23 cm (large and impressive as a table centerpiece or decorative object).
Condition: Excellent vintage condition, no chips or cracks. Includes a portion of the original gold-colored foil label (typical of authentic Murano).
Provenance: Genuine Murano glass from Venice, Italy – a timeless piece that fits perfectly in a modern, retro, or classic interior.
This is a true collector's item: sculptural, heavy, and full of character. Ideal as an eye-catcher on your coffee table, sideboard, or as a unique gift.
