Product description
Bring the cozy atmosphere of the 60s and 70s to your snack table with this fascinating, elongated ceramic cheese board/apéritif dish. This unique vintage item combines functionality with a wonderfully modernist design, recognizable by the sleek, geometric handle at the end.
The absolute highlight is the vibrant, deep green 'Fat Lava' drip glaze. Due to the foamy, light edges and the subtle crackle effect, the dish has a beautiful depth and a unique organic character. No two boards are exactly alike!
Truly a magnificent piece in brilliant green hues.
• Origin: Handmade artist's / studio ceramics from a French-speaking workshop (France or Wallonia).
• Markings: Signed on the underside in the clay with "Fait main", model number 247 and a studio monogram. On the front, the original, silver-yellow foil sticker with the monogram "MA" / "AM" is still beautifully intact.
• Condition: In excellent vintage condition without major damage. The glaze still shines beautifully.
• Use: Perfect for use as a luxurious cheese platter, serving tray for appetizers and snacks, or as a stylish vide-poche on the dresser for keys and jewelry.
A unique, super usable piece for a cozy apéritif evening!
