Unique set of three vintage mid-century MCM slat benches, a beautiful example of minimalist design from the 50s and 60s, strongly inspired by iconic designs such as the famous Nelson Bench or Italian modernist designs.Thanks to their modular design, they are incredibly versatile; place them next to each other as one long eye-catcher, separately as coffee tables, or as functional benches in a hallway or at the foot of a bed.The combination of the warm wooden slats and the sleek, black metal base gives the whole a typical, timeless mid-century look.The benches are 49cm x 49cm and 32cm high, so with a little space in between, they take up about 1.80m of space.In the 60s, they were often placed in front of a window or a bookshelf, a set of furniture with endless possibilities.The set is in good vintage condition, available for pickup or possibly shipping as an extra large package.
