About this seller
Private sellerProduct description
This elegant Console table, combining stylistic elements of Neoclassicism and Biedermeier, is a truly remarkable piece of furniture, distinguished by its balanced proportions and striking details.
The Console is finished with a noble, warm-toned wood veneer. The clear lines of the tabletop and the straight silhouette are emphasized by two decorative, glossy black, turned columns. These rest on stepped bases, creating an effective contrast to the brown wooden surfaces.
A particularly exquisite feature is the large, authentically styled mirror insert on the back, which shows a distinct patina. Instead of a flawless mirror surface, its characteristically mottled, aged appearance gives it an extremely decorative, truly antique character.
In the upper part, there is a practical drawer fitted with a classic, ring-shaped metal handle. The traditional handcrafted wood joint of the drawer also underlines the high standard of classic furniture craftsmanship.
The gently curved design of the lower part gives the furniture a certain lightness, while the column-like black elements provide a monumental, architectural appearance.
