Product description
This Italian glazed floor vase from the 1960s presents a striking example of mid-century ceramic artistry. The piece is distinguished by its substantial scale and the expressive, hand-painted landscape that wraps around its bulbous form, making it a captivating focal point for any interior.
Crafted from ceramic, the vase features a flared, undulating rim that transitions into a slender neck before expanding into a generous body. The surface is adorned with a detailed, multi-coloured pastoral scene, depicting a rustic house, rolling hills, and figures, rendered in a palette of greens, blues, yellows, and earthy tones. The interior of the flared rim is also painted, adding depth and continuity to the design.
This floor vase is well-suited for a variety of interior styles, from rustic and bohemian to eclectic and vintage-inspired spaces. It serves as a substantial decorative object that brings a touch of Italian mid-century craftsmanship and narrative art into the home.
