A beautiful, solid stool from the 1960s/70s. This is not a mass-produced item, but a unique piece of craftsmanship for the vintage design enthusiast. The seat is upholstered in a stylish, neutral woven fabric with a subtle color accent ('speckle'), giving the stool a timeless and modern look.
What makes this stool technically special is the traditional mortise and tenon joint. At the corners, you can see the tenons running beautifully through the woodwork; a decorative detail that testifies to true furniture maker craftsmanship. Thanks to this extremely strong construction, the stool remains perfectly straight after all these years.
The maker's authentic handwritten markings are still visible on the underside, and the seat is invisibly attached from below for a clean finish. With its slender, tapered wooden frame, this is a beautiful example of Mid-Century design that adds quality and atmosphere to any interior.
