About this seller
Private sellerProduct description
This unique chair is a striking example of upcycling design, crafted from a recycled oil drum. The design combines a robust industrial aesthetic with a functional seating solution, resulting in a piece of furniture that is both statement-making and practical.
The chair is constructed from a horizontally cut metal oil drum, with the rounded shapes serving as armrests and a base. The seat and backrest are made of dark stained wood, offering a warm contrast to the cool, patinated metal. The construction showcases the raw origins of the material, including the original ribs of the drum. The color combination of silver-colored metal and dark brown wood reinforces the industrial character.
The piece of furniture is in good condition befitting the upcycling concept. The metal displays an authentic patina that contributes to the industrial charm, while the wooden elements are sturdy and functional.
This chair comes into its own perfectly in an industrial interior, a loft, or as a striking accent piece in an eclectic living space.
