About this seller
Private sellerProduct description
This is the Antipode chair, a remarkable design by Erik Gijs for the Dutch brand Leolux. The chair is characterized by its artistic and sculptural form, which gives it a playful yet refined appearance. The design breaks with traditional chair forms and functions as an autonomous design object.
The chair is crafted with high-quality leather upholstery in a two-tone palette of deep navy blue and vibrant ocher yellow. This combination accentuates the organic, asymmetrical lines of the backrest. The whole rests on a sleek, minimalist base of black coated metal, providing a stable and elegant foundation. This piece of furniture is an example of refined Dutch design.
The overall condition of the chair is excellent, retaining its original colors and the neat finish of the upholstery. The piece of furniture demonstrates the quality and craftsmanship for which Leolux is known and has a distinct character that immediately draws attention.
As a striking accent piece, this chair is ideal for a design-oriented interior. The chair can serve as a solitary eye-catcher in a living room, hallway, or study, or as a unique addition to an eclectic dining area.
