Product description
This is a unique glass object, crafted by the German studio glass artist Erwin Eisch. The piece is a signed 'Unica' example from 1986, confirming its authenticity and unique character.
The bowl is hand-formed and demonstrates a masterful command of the material. The design consists of a deeper center with a wide, flat rim. The central part features a vibrant, iridescent palette of deep blue and earthy brown tones, while the rim has a subtle, clear texture reminiscent of tree rings. On the underside, the object is clearly engraved with the signature 'Eisch 86', dating the work and attributing it to the artist.
The overall condition of the bowl is excellent, consistent with its age and careful preservation. The glass is free of visible damage and retains its original luster and color intensity. The object testifies to the craftsmanship for which Erwin Eisch, a pioneer of the European studio glass movement, is known.
As a standalone work of art, this bowl functions perfectly as a central decorative element on a dining table, dresser, or console. It seamlessly fits into an interior with a preference for modern design, art, and unique objects.
