Unique handmade ceramic bowl by the Dutch ceramist Olaf Stevens, signed and dated 1997.
On the underside, next to Olaf Stevens' signature, is the inscription:
“F.J.M. de Jonge – 1.1.97”
This likely indicates a personal commission, a commissioned piece, or a specially crafted gift for F.J.M. de Jonge.
The bowl has a diameter of approximately 40 cm and is executed in Olaf Stevens' characteristic expressive style. A special and unique studio ceramic object of which no second example is known.
