Ceramic vase, designed and signed by Ugo Zaccagnini (1868 – 1937)
Italy, ca. 1920
Zaccagnini began his career at the prestigious Richard-Ginori factory.
He worked there alongside the famous designer Gio Ponti.
The influence of Gio Ponti is clearly visible in his elegant and refined designs.
Later, Zaccagnini founded his own ceramic studio, where he developed a unique style: Ugo Zaccagnini & Figli
This vase belongs to his early and most sought-after creations.
A very rare piece, which only sporadically appears on the market.
At the time, a large part of his production was exported to the United States.
As a result, authentic examples are particularly difficult to find in Europe today.
The vase is in excellent condition / almost invisible chip of varnish at the base (3 mm)
