Product description
Two matching vintage lidded dishes/terrines from the renowned quality brand Villeroy & Boch (Mettlach).
This duo is finished in a beautiful, typical Mid-Century pastel green / sage green color with contrasting white handles and lid knobs.
History & Features: The dishes bear the rare historical stamp: "Villeroy & Boch Mettlach - Made in France-Saar / Economic Union". This means that they were produced exactly during the post-war period between 1947 and 1956, when the Saarland was economically part of France. They are also marked on the bottom with the production letters K and L.
Quantity: 2 pieces (including lids)
Dimensions: 26 cm wide (measured including the handles) and 11 cm high (to the top of the lid knob).
Condition: In very good condition. No chips, no cracks or major damage. The glaze still shines beautifully.
