Created in the 60s by Ingmar Relling, a major figure in Scandinavian design (1920-2002), these high-back "Siesta" armchairs perfectly embody their name. Made from stretched canvas, with rope tied to the bent rosewood frame, and upholstered in exceptionally supple leather, they offer remarkable ergonomics and comfort. Their lightness is also a major asset. Norwegian furniture manufacturer Westnofa produced them between 1965 and 1980. These two first-hand armchairs, one of which still bears the manufacturer's label, are in exceptional, near-new condition. The one-piece seat and back leather, upholstery foam and frame are impeccable, with no signs of use or scratches. A must-have, or rather two! Dimensions: height 98cm, seat height 40cm, width 72cm, depth 100cm.
