Product description
Original two-color hand-printed linocut of a tulip. Bold red bloom against a deep forest green — printed in two layers by hand. Each print is unique — the natural marks of the tools and the layering of ink make every piece truly one of a kind.
Limited edition — only 50 prints.
Print size: 14×21 cm (5.5×8.3 in)
Sheet size: A4 — 21×29.7 cm (8.3×11.7 in)
Paper — your choice:
— Heavy watercolour paper 300 gsm
— Handmade paper with natural deckled, uneven edges (looks especially beautiful when framed)
How it's made:
The design is transferred onto linoleum and hand-carved using specialist tools. Each colour is printed separately — ink is applied with a roller, the paper is carefully placed and pressed by hand using a burnishing tool. Two passes, two colours, one unique print. This is why every piece feels alive and differs slightly from the next.
Please note: colours may vary slightly depending on your monitor settings. In person the red is vivid and the green is deep and rich.
