This is a set of two English armchairs, crafted in the classic Hepplewhite style. The chairs are characterized by their elegant and light construction, a typical feature of late eighteenth-century neoclassical furniture design, popularized by George Hepplewhite. The frame of the chairs is made of wood, finished in a sage green color with gilded accents that emphasize the refined details. The backrest features an openwork medallion with a spoke motif, an iconic Hepplewhite design. The seat is upholstered with a striped fabric in beige and brown tones, offering a neutral yet distinguished contrast to the colored frame. The chairs are in good condition consistent with their age and use. The paint shows a craquelure effect, which adds to the authentic character of the furniture. The construction is solid and the upholstery is intact, allowing the chairs to be used immediately. These armchairs are a refined addition to a classic or eclectic interior.
