This set of two candlesticks was designed by the renowned Dutch designer Marcel Wanders for department store De Bijenkorf. The design is characterized by a minimalist yet playful interpretation of the classic bottle shape, executed in a bright white palette.
The candlesticks are crafted from high-quality ceramic and finished with a smooth, glossy glaze. The cylindrical base flows into a slender neck, crowned with a wide, flat bowl that holds the candle and catches any candle wax. The underside features the original markings of both Marcel Wanders and De Bijenkorf, confirming the authenticity of these objects.
The set is in excellent condition and has retained its original shine and structural integrity. The timeless design and neutral white color make these objects versatile.
