David Lewis' design for the BeoVision MX2000 was detailed and highly aesthetic, making the TV look good from all angles. This model was produced from 1985-May 1989. The Beovision MX2000 won the ID/International Design Award in 1986. My father bought it from Stassen in Venlo. He used it until his death in 2014, and since then it has been in storage. I have no antenna connection so I can't show a picture, but I can show the picture without antenna connection ! (see photo) I also tested the accompanying remote control with batteries and it works. (see photo)
This vintage TV has extensive connection facilities and could also function as a monitor for retro gaming and it is a collectors dream ! I read somewhere on the internet where this model was discussed.
This vintage TV has scuff marks and scratches here and there but for its age it looks very good (see photos) The sticker on the back is unfortunately half gone, but you can still read BeoVision MX2....000. This TV is a Design Icon, a revolution in TV history, and is sold 'as is'. It weighs 26 pounds.
