Product description
Title: Original Etching Tuur De Rijbel (3/120) – Hand-Signed With Beautiful Patina
Description:
For Sale: A beautiful, original etching by the renowned Belgian artist Tuur De Rijbel (1927 – 2016). The work depicts a young woman posing in an atmospheric, rural polder landscape with a characteristic tree and a small farmhouse in the background. A typical and sought-after motif within the oeuvre of this East Flemish master.
Characteristics of This Work:
* Artist: Tuur De Rijbel (Lebbeke)
* Technique: Original intaglio etching (Clear etching mark palpable)
* Edition: Limited and numbered as Copy 3 of only 120 pieces (3/120)
* Signature: Hand-signed in pencil by the artist in the bottom right
* Condition: The etching image itself is in very beautiful, fresh, and clean condition. Over the years, the edges of the sheet have acquired a beautiful, natural yellowing (patina). This gives the artwork an extra authentic, weathered look that fits perfectly with a vintage or country interior. Ideal for 'floating' framing so that the characterful edges remain visible!
The work is currently loose-leaf.
