An iconic Charly Armchair, designed by Gerard van den Berg for the Dutch brand Montis. This specific piece stands out due to its recent, professional reupholstery in a vibrant turquoise leather, bringing the comfort and aesthetics of this Dutch Design icon back to life.
The Armchair is fully upholstered with high-quality leather in a striking blue-turquoise color. The design is characterized by the 'jacket' that is pulled over the frame like a cover and closed at the back with a distinctive zipper. The slender, black metal base provides an airy look and a stable foundation, a signature of the original design from 1983.
Thanks to the recent reupholstery, the upholstery is in excellent condition, without signs of wear. The leather is supple and the color is rich and consistent. The original frame has been well preserved and shows the stability and quality one can expect from Montis.
