About this seller
ProfessionalProduct description
This rare industrial stool was manufactured in post-war Czechoslovakia, most likely between the 1940s and early 1950s. It features a beautifully shaped chromed tubular steel frame and an original black Bakelite seat — a popular material of the era known for its durability and sleek appearance.
The stool reflects the influence of Bauhaus and Functionalist design, widely embraced in Central Europe at the time. Its clean lines and utilitarian form make it a timeless piece, suitable for modern interiors, design collectors, or galleries.
