Product description
According to AI, this is the "Borkum" lounge armchair, designed in the 1970s by Jan-Bertil Häggström for IKEA. It is an iconic vintage design classic from the seventies, recognizable by its thick, chrome-plated tubular frame and the tufted (buttoned) cushions in cognac/ochre yellow leather. I cannot find any provenance on the chair itself. There is a large tear in the seat of the cushion, hence the ‘take-away price’.
