Exceptionally large handmade Tuareg rug made of leather and reed. The rug is constructed from hundreds of natural reed stalks connected by narrow leather strips and featuring traditional geometric patterns.
This type of mat is traditionally manufactured by the Tuareg nomads of the Sahara region (Mali, Niger, Algeria, and Burkina Faso) and is currently sought after by collectors of ethnographic art, interior designers, and lovers of natural materials.
