Product description
Color Me is a series of artworks about our perception of each other, how upon first seeing a person, we already form some opinion about them; our subconscious already knows whether this person is good or not. In other words, based solely on our personal experience, we color the stranger with our emotions. It is inherent in us to be drawn to those who are similar to ourselves, and if the painting evokes pleasant sensations in you, perhaps this is your stranger, or maybe even yourself.
Mixed media, acrylic, varnish on cotton canvas
Dimensions include the frame: 63x83 cm (each).
