Product description
Are you searching for a unique, trend-setting vintage studio that speaks of structural honesty and raw beauty? This Brutalist writing desk with its matching pair of chairs is a masterful expression of 1970s Italian design. Inspired by the rationalist and functionalist logic of masters like Achille Castiglioni, this set is an architectural statement for a sophisticated home office or a curated living area.
The Desk: Featuring a bold trestle-leg structure in solid beech wood, the design emphasizes the beauty of joints and the weight of natural materials. The wide, sturdy top provides a spacious and inspiring work surface.
The Chairs: A perfectly coordinated pair in solid wood, featuring original brown saddle leather seats. The high backrest and geometric frame create a striking silhouette that balances the desk’s horizontal presence.
Handcrafted in Italy, circa 1970. The set has undergone a full professional check-up. The wooden structures have been cleaned and treated to nourish the beech grain. The natural saddle leather shows charming signs of time, small marks that certify its 50-year history and add a layer of soulful authenticity.
Sturdy, stable, and functionally perfect for immediate daily use.
How do I clean and maintain these surfaces?
To preserve the solid beech, use a soft, dry microfiber cloth for dusting. For the leather seats, we recommend a specific neutral leather conditioner once a year to keep the "cuoio" supple. Avoid harsh chemicals or direct heat sources to maintain the wood’s natural moisture and that stunning vintage patina.
